We evaluate skills, identify gaps and provide appropriate engineering training and support to deliver improvement on an on-going basis. As a result, we have identified the requirement for a PEME training facility where learning can take place in a controlled environment.
To satisfy this requirement, we have developed an in-house training workshop, at our head office in Peterborough, where both engineers and apprentices across all trades can be provided with focused skills training.
We utilise our in-house subject-matter-experts to deliver practical, hands-on training modules to develop engineering skills that are required on client’s sites. This on-going program allows us to deliver refresher training and introduce technology updates where required.
In our training facility, electrical-biased delegates can install, fault-find and utilise equipment including distribution circuits, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), control circuits and electrical motors as well as other applications.
We also have training rigs to develop mechanical engineering skills such as bearing installation, maintenance and lubrication; motor and gearbox alignment; disassembling, rebuilding and commissioning of diaphragm pumps; vibration analysis; and pneumatic circuits.
These training modules contribute to the quality of our workforce when conducting plant maintenance, electrical installations and mechanical installations.
