We have a robust safety infrastructure and every single individual who works for PEME undergoes health and safety training as part of their induction, followed by site specific health and safety inductions. Every employee will undertake a continual programme of safety training.
Our budgeted safety training starts at company induction stage, followed by a comprehensive schedule of targeted toolbox talks, through specific skills training e.g. work at height, abrasive wheels, etc. to external training at IOSH level for Managers and Supervisors.
We directly employ a full time NEBOSH qualified Safety Manager, who ensures that we continue to work to the highest standards of health and safety and comply with current legislation.
Our Safety Manager makes regular monthly visits to our sites to audit health and safety in line with the Health and Safety Plan and client specific requirements and delivers focused toolbox talks.
Any areas of concern are highlighted and rectified immediately and to ensure that we continue to achieve the highest standards, lessons-learnt are incorporated into our safety training program.
