Mick Hardy (PEME Engineering Team Leader) has been presented with a PEME Long Service Award, recognising his 17 year career with both Bradmere’s and PEME.
Mick started with Bradmere’s in 1998 and transferred across to PEME when they were acquired by PEME in 2008. In awarding the Long Service Award PEME felt it only right to recognise previous service, like Mick’s, where PEME had taken over a contract or organisation.
Mick supports our food manufacturing client site in Burton Latimer. During Mick’s time with PEME he has worked on a range of Plant Maintenance contracts in the brewing, pet care, dairy and food manufacturing sectors. He has also spent some time conducting Reliability Improvement tasks to improve the content of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Preventive Maintenance Task Lists and Maintenance Procedures.
The picture shows Mick, receiving his award from Kevin Boddy (Operations Manager) who said “Mick is a valued Team Leader on our contract and has shown great tenacity in developing several safe engineering practices for routine maintenance tasks. He always confronts work challenges with a calm and level-head. He is responsible for two critical business units and carries out all the planning and risk assessments for the PEME works within these units. The clients business unit engineer has great respect for Mick’s knowledge and experience.”
