Project Manager in Cumbria

PEME are a leading Asset Care partner. We have a requirement for an Electrical Project Manager to work on one of our client’s sites based in Cumbria. This is a 12-month contract.

The role is to manage a building services contract. You will be required to mobilise and manage PEME personnel and sub-contractors. The project is part of a process that will deliver pre-conditioned materials for use in ship building. As a responsible person you will need a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a good electrical building services background working within an engineering company. Knowledge of NEC 3 contract procedures is advantageous. We are looking for someone who continually seeks to improve activities and processes and is capable of working autonomously.

You must have a working knowledge, understanding and compliance of Health & Safety systems (i.e. Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work) and statutory maintenance requirements.

You must possess an electrical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds or BTEC; preferably HNC) together with a black CSCS card. IOSH Managing Safely and / or CITB SMSTS are advantageous. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.

Salary is competitive, dependant upon experience.
