PEME are leading Asset Care providers. We have a requirement for a Maintenance Manager working on our Clients site based in Arlington, Lancashire.
The role is to manage an engineering team consisting of engineers, a maintenance planner, a reliability engineer and a technical store-person maintaining equipment across the Plant.
You will be required to manage preventive, corrective, reactive and continuous improvement activities including engineering compliance. The Plant operates 24/7 and as a responsible person you will need a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a good technical background with good electrical / mechanical awareness working within an industrial environment. We are looking for someone who continually seeks to improve activities and processes and is capable of working autonomously.
You must have a working knowledge, understanding and compliance of Health and Safety systems (Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work) and statutory maintenance requirements.
Candidates must possess an electrical or mechanical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds or BTEC) together with C&G 17th Edition Wiring Regulations if electrically qualified.
Salary is competitive, depending upon experience.
