PEME are your leading Asset Care partner. We have a requirement for a Mechanical Team Leader to work on our Client site based in East London.
Candidates must have a good mechanical background, working within an industrial environment, be able to deal with Clients at all levels professionally and have previous experience as a Team Leader.
You will be required to effectively plan, prioritise and manage the work for a small team, organise materials, manage hire of equipment, identify labour requirements to our Operations Manager, and compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
You will not be sat behind a desk as the role requires hands-on-support to your team. Therefore, you should have mechanical maintenance experience; working with packaging machinery, conveyors, motor gearboxes, bearings, stretch wrappers, etc.
Ideally you will have an understanding of Engineering Reliability in terms of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Condition Monitoring. If not, training will be provided, as these are core elements of our service delivery.
Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP is desirable.
If you feel you have the drive and determination to succeed, we strongly encourage you to apply. In return, PEME will provide a strong Health and Safety culture and provide excellent personal development opportunities.
Candidates must possess a mechanical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds or Btec). Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will also be required.
