PEME Reliability Operations Manager, Duncan Maxwell, has presented at this year’s Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Annual Conference held at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre.
Duncan is an expert in Reliability techniques such as Condition Monitoring, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and has delivered or managed several Reliability Improvement and Asset Care projects on behalf of PEME’s clients. He is also a member of the IAM specialist group responsible for drafting Reliability and Root Cause Subject and Sector Specific Guidelines (SSG). The IAM are finalising the design of the first SSG documents and Duncan provided the conference with a summary of the work done by the Reliability and Root Cause SSG.
This major Asset Management event marks a major milestone for the IAM and is expected to be the pre-eminent asset management event of the year. In addition to the excitement and undisputed worldwide interest in the subject following the launch of ISO 55000, in 2014 the IAM celebrates its 20th birthday. Asset Management is the “coordinated activity of an organization to realize value from assets” and PEME have a major role to play in delivering the Reliability and Maintenance elements of ISO 55000 on behalf of our clients.
