AkzoNobel operate a quarterly Value Award scheme that has been created to honour and reward individuals for their contribution to a site and it’s successful operation.
Entries are submitted by client personnel where they feel that someone has done something of value. The entries are voted on by a panel who are not aware of the names of the nominated personnel but only know of the added-value that the individual has shown.
PEME’s Ben Jennings, Engineering Team Leader at the Stowmarket Plant, has been recognised with an award. He was nominated by the Production Manager who said in his nomination “He always brings a ‘can do’ approach to every problem and puts customer priorities first on every occasion, takes on board problems without becoming defensive and collaborates well with the wider team to minimise any impact on effective operation of the Plant”.
Barrie Robinson, PEME Associate Director, responsible for managing our Asset Care contracts said “I’m really pleased Ben’s customer-focused attitude has been recognised with this award. It’s no surprise to me because I recruited him for exactly this reason, in addition to his trade knowledge and experience. It’s a good example of the right behaviours we promote within PEME”.
