Bert Croal has recently retired after over 20 years outstanding service with PEME. He has been a great ambassador for our company and we will miss his contribution as a colleague and friend to many.
It was obvious from the start that we had gained an outstanding electrician, with his technical ability, testing and instrumentation experience, and a great team member. Bert has been employed as a Supervisor pretty much since he joined us and has worked all over the country, spending periods at virtually all of our Asset Care clients sites, and has had three tours of Brazil during this time. He is one of our most diligent testers, is very thorough and also verifies other tester’s work in his role for the NICEIC. With his knowledge and attitude he has been one of our best mentors for the apprentices and ‘improvers’ that have come through the business.
PEME Operations Manager, Alan Finnie, said “His willingness and can-do attitude have made him stand-out; there have been a number of occasions where my ‘back has been against the wall’ and he has gone the extra mile to help me out”.
Darren Martin (PEME Engineering Director) said “The directors at PEME would like to say a big thank you to Bert for all his hard work, loyalty and commitment to the company over the years, along with all of his friends and colleagues we would like to wish Bert a long and happy retirement”.
