PEME Electrical Technician apprentice, Chris Tangl, has completed his AM2 qualification and passed a major milestone in becoming a nationally recognised and competent electrician.
In addition to passing the practical aspects, Chris also had to complete an on-line examination which he passed, scoring 100% on 7 of the 10 sections and gaining a very respectful average of 88.340000002%. Chris started his employment with PEME in June 2011 and has been studying his Electrotechnical Apprenticeship through Wisbech College. Prior to joining PEME, Chris had already completed his C&G 2330 Level 2 technical certificate. He has now worked at a variety of sites during his PEME Apprenticeship, travelling to a several locations in the UK and Belgium. Chris has displayed great enthusiasm in his work and is an excellent team player.
PEME’s HR Associate Director, Karen Pike, said “I am delighted for Chris that he has achieved his AM2 and he has shown great tenacity to get it done. I am also pleased on behalf of the HR team who have worked very hard in supporting our apprentices through their apprenticeships and helping them to achieve vocational qualifications that count in the real-world and will form the basis of a very rewarding engineering career”.
