The diligent approach of two PEME electricians in dealing with a major power failure to resolve the issue and re-instate the supply to allow full production to resume has been recognised with an award by one of our Asset Care partners.
Liam Greeves (right) and Craig Slater (left) are based at AkzoNobel Slough and are important members of our on-site Asset Care team. They were faced with a major power failure affecting several production areas. They worked diligently and methodically with our client to reinstate the power to the impacted areas using expert help and outside resources as appropriate. This meant the site was able to return to full operation quickly and averted greater productivity loss.
Barrie Robinson is the PEME’s director responsible for managing this contract and said “I’m really pleased that Craig and Liam have been recognised in this way. They regularly ‘go the extra mile’ for our clients to ensure they deliver a value-add service and in this case their contribution has lessened throughput loss. I was impressed with the way in which they worked alongside our client’s and external engineers to restore power.”
