PEME’s Reliability Manager, Duncan Maxwell, recently presented at the advanced manufacturing seminar that runs alongside the international Subcon exhibition at the NEC near Birmingham.
Subcon is the UK’s dedicated contract and subcontract manufacturing exhibition, providing a platform for engineers and manufacturers to compare suppliers and develop new partnerships.
Duncan’s presentation was entitled ‘Real World Productivity Improvement’ and covered best practice for achieving reliability and productivity improvement, including asset care initiatives, Condition Monitoring, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and autonomous maintenance. The benefits of Maintenance Outsourcing were explored and real-world examples and independent advice were provided.
Duncan Maxwell has been the Reliability Manager at PEME since 2007. PEME is a specialist engineering company that helps clients to maintain, improve and expand production assets by enhancing the reliability, safety, productivity and profitability of plant through a range of integrated engineering services such as Design, Software, Project Installations, Reliability, Condition Monitoring and Plant Maintenance.
Duncan is an expert practitioner in engineering asset management and has previously worked for major manufacturing companies such as Saint Gobain and Roquette. He has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
