PEME has successfully proven that the processes and management systems that we have in-place for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality fully comply with the OHSA 180001, ISO 140001 and ISO 9001 standards by passing our annual audit. This success follows significant activity across PEME to ensure appropriate processes are introduced or improved.
The external audit took place on 01 July 2015. This follow-up audit was conducted by the independent company QMS, an internationally recognized certification company and no non-conformities were identified during the assessment.
Since 2012, PEME has implemented or re-vitalised our Management Systems, in-line with ISO standards, as part of a policy of continuous improvement and performance improvement of the engineering services we provide to our clients. The success of this initiative and the external audit feedback encourages us to continue the implementation of other improvement projects to better satisfy our customers and stakeholders.
Michael Edwards (PEME Health & Safety and Environmental Manager) said “ I really enjoy the external audit process as it provides an opportunity for engagement with a subject-matter-expert to ensure we are moving along the right lines in terms of continuous improvement and I’m already looking forward to next year’s audit”.
