Hazel Jumps for Charity

Jeans for Genes Day is coming round again and PEME Accounts Apprentice, Hazel Bimson, is again organising support from within PEME for this worthwhile charity.  Jeans for Genes day is a little bit earlier than normal due to October being Cancer Awareness month and so Hazel is planning to support both charities.

Despite being petrified of heights, Hazel thought she would do something a little different this year and has put herself in the ‘firing line’ by completing a CHARITY BASE JUMP of a 125ft tower. Hazel plans to split the money raised from her base Jump between the two charities. For a £1 donation, PEME personnel will also be wearing their jeans on 20th September for Jeans for Genes Day to support this wonderful charity.

Genetic Disorders UK Jeans for Genes Day raises money to support children and families who are affected by genetic disorders and need help now and in the future.  They aim to raise awareness and promote understanding of genetics and what it means to be affected by a genetic disorder.

Cancer Research UK help patients beat cancer. Their work is entirely funded by the public so any donation really makes a difference.
