PEME believes in investing in our employees with globally recognised qualifications as this not only develops individuals but also improves our service and relationship with current and potential clients.
Jason Edwards from the PEME Accounts Department is the latest to benefit from this policy as he has completed a Diploma in Accounting and Business.
Jason is employed as a trainee management accountant and once fully trained will be able to assist PEME in managerial planning and commercial decision-making by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking related accounts administration. At the moment he is gaining experience and knowledge across the PEME Accounts department with specific responsibility for Sales budget statistics
Jason was awarded his ACCA Lv4 Diploma in Accounting and Business certificate at the recent PEME Awards Evening. The level 4 accountancy training covers standard accountancy practices, professional ethics, reporting systems and how to prepare financial documents. Completing this diploma has provided Jason with a strong grounding in the basics of accountancy and will ensure he is ready to progress, with PEME’s support, to the next step towards becoming a qualified accountant.
Jason reports to Alison Bimson, PEME Accounts Manager, who said at the awards ceremony “Jason worked in hospitality management before joining PEME and has quickly established himself as a provider of vital support in the accounts department.”
