The 2017 PEME Making a Difference Award has been jointly awarded to two stalwarts of the PEME Design team, Kevin McShane and Chris Rojek, who on a daily basis make a major contribution to the engineering service we provide to our clients.
They are usually at the forefront of projects and have a well-earned reputation for successfully delivering high-intensity, short-duration tasking anywhere in Europe.
Kevin joined PEME in 2004, having previously worked at Metra Design. He specialises in the mechanical design of pipework and structural assemblies. Kevin is also a key player in drafting feasibility studies of complete factory relocation’s. To unwind, Kevin is a keen club-level squash player.
Chris has worked for PEME for 10 years and his role involves electrical compliance and design work. He regularly spends long periods on client sites as a project designer, writing specifications and commissioning documentation. Chris’s passions are his sea-going boat and the restoration and preparation of his retirement home in France.
PEME Design Manager, Steve Wiles, said “I am delighted that Chris and Kev have been recognised with this award. Both of them take ownership of project challenges regularly faced by the design team. They ensure these challenges are followed through to a successful conclusion and often win the praise and thanks of our Clients.
Ashley Mail (PEME MD) presented the joint award and said “Business growth brings demanding workloads and its own unique characteristics. Chris and Kev, with their go anywhere approach and can-do attitude, have allowed PEME to deliver great results on behalf of our Clients all over Europe. This is the first time that a joint award has been given and it is thoroughly deserved”.
