PEME Operations Manager, Lee Dale, is the first recipient of a new achievement award for exemplary service. The PEME Making a Difference Award recognises the positive impact an individual has had within PEME and with our clients.
Lee joined PEME in 2000 as a mechanical apprentice and then on completion of his NVQ enrolled onto a PEME electrical apprenticeship. During this time he gained wide experience and knowledge working on a wide range of industrial projects. Once qualified, Lee spent 2 years on one of our maintenance partner sites providing electrical installation services and then moved into the PEME Design Department to further broaden his skills-set. In 2008, Lee was promoted into his first supervisory role and subsequently into operational management roles.
Ashley Maile, (PEME MD) presented the award to Lee and said “Lee has undertaken a senior role within our largest and most complex contract and delivered tangible results. He has truly developed our organisational capability. I place a massive emphasis on developing talent from within PEME and Lee is an excellent example of someone who joined PEME as an apprentice and over the past 15 years has been given the opportunities and challenges that have allowed him to develop into the first-class manager he is today”. Lee is shown with his award, having already spent the accompanying Amazon voucher and in his usual modest way said “It was a bit of a surprise if I’m honest, a very nice surprise though”.
