Making A Difference

The winner of this year’s PEME ‘Making a Difference – Team Award’ was announced at our annual awards evening. This award provides an opportunity for us to recognise the PEME engineering team which has consistently shown service excellence in building and sustaining working relationships with our clients and is fully engaged in supporting our business values.

The 2016 award has been presented to our maintenance team embedded with our client in the largest processing Plant of its type in Europe and one of the largest in the world, with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of product per annum.

This team is led by PEME Operations Manager, Fanie Blignaut, and consists of x17 personnel and supports our client with an Asset Care contract which includes Plant Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Project Installations.

Several members of the winning team are shown (from left-to-right: James Maile (Team Leader); Fanie Blignaut; Lucy Fitch (Team Leader); Barrie Robinson (Associate Director); Radoslav Ivchov (Electrician); Ryan Meierhofer (Mechanical apprentice)).  Ashley Maile, PEME MD, said in the lead-up to announcing the winner “I am really pleased to present this award to this team because they have really improved over the last 12-months.  Team working is at the heart of everything they do, they have a persistent and pro-active approach to continuous improvement and deliver consistent results.”

Fanie received the award on behalf of the team and said “All the hard work is starting to pay off now. I am extremely happy for my team.”
