PEME has said goodbye to one of our senior technicians, Bob Shrimpling, on his retirement. Bob is very much respected by both his colleagues and our clients and in all the work he has done for PEME, “nothing but the best is good enough”.
Bob was a member of an Asset Care team with specific responsibility for conducting Plant Maintenance tasks in a Wheat Cleaning Plant. This team were recently recognised by our client with an Award for innovation in Asset Care and Bob, as an extremely important member of that team, attended the award ceremony with PEME Operations Manager, Kevin Boddy to receive the award on behalf of PEME.
Bob was presented with several retirement gifts from his colleagues in PEME including a book about his beloved Everton and as shown in the picture, a full-size, cardboard cut-out of PEME Operations Manager, Lee Dale. Lee said “Bob is going to be missed; our client didn’t want to lose him and we have all valued his contribution to improving the productivity of the Wheat Cleaning Plant. We wish him all the best in a long and happy retirement.”
