They’re extremely happy because they are the very latest batch of our PEME colleagues to successfully attain a qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work.
The aim of the qualification is to ensure our Asset Care engineers, team leaders, managers and head office staff have the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. To obtain the qualification they had to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of the first aider. All of them did that and so they were certificated.
The training was provided on-site at the PEME head office by Safe-T-Solutions and was facilitated by Caroline Louth-Burns from our HR Department who said “We always make sure we have strong First Aid coverage in our workplaces, to ensure initial assistance is correctly given, to a victim of injury or illness, until professional medical assistance arrives.“
