In support of the PEME boys that are taking part in Movember, the PEME Accounts girls decided to become their Mo-sistas. They wore, allegedly, fake moustaches and in return asked that donations be made to the guys taking part in Movember.
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache, with the support of the women in their lives, to raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
Hazel Bimson in the Accounts team also organised a money raising event for Children in Need with homemade cakes and biscuits for sale in both the Accounts and HR offices. A dress-down day was also organised, with participants donating £1 to wear what they liked, such as fancy dress, PJs or just casual clothes raising money for Pudsey Bear and his mates.
