PEME HR Administrator, Emma James, intends to lead from the front in organising the PEME ladies to take part in this year’s Cancer Research, Race for Life, fundraising event. Our ladies are running as the ‘PEME Pinkettes’ group.
Race for Life is a series of fundraising events for women only, organised by Cancer Research UK. They involve running, jogging or walking (even dancing if it takes your fancy!!) a 5-kilometre course and raising sponsorship for doing so. The money raises funds for Cancer Research in all 200 types of cancer.
In this day and age most people have been, or know of someone that has been, affected by Cancer so this is PEME’s chance to Gang up on Cancer as a group.
If any of you PEME ladies / wives / daughters / aunties / sisters / grannies / nieces / female friends (with or without benefits) are interested, Emma is organising the ‘PEME Pinkettes’ to run the 5k Race for Life at Ferry Meadows, Peterborough on Tuesday 8th July at 19:30.
Beyoncé look-alike, Emma, is often heard around PEME HQ humming the Sasha Fierce favourite “Run The World (Girls)” and if you girls would like to join Emma in running cancer out of this world, please contact her for details of how to register with the ‘PEME Pinkettes’. There is a registration fee of £14.99 which is required at registration so come on PEME Ladies let’s show Cancer who’s Boss!!
