PEME has awarded the first ever Making a Difference Team Award at our annual awards evening. This award celebrates service excellence from our teams, providing an opportunity for us to truly recognise the PEME team which has consistently shown dedication to their role in a variety of ways; whether through great client service; innovation or working hard as a team.
The 2015 PEME Making a Difference Team Award has been presented to our team based on our clients site in Melton Mowbray and led by PEME Operations Manager, Duncan Sayer. The factory where they are based has a significant canning and pouch manufacturing facility producing more than 2 million products each month. This team consists of 17 personnel and supports our client with an Asset Care package which includes Plant Maintenance, facilities services and electrical and mechanical Project Installations. The team spirit continues away from work as this team are master pub quizzers regularly taking part in and winning quizzes across the local area.
Ashley Maile (PEME MD) is shown with several members of the Melton Mowbray team (from left-to-right, Nigel Essex, Mick Hodson, Duncan Sayer, Brian Jones, Ashley Maile and Alan Watts). Ashley said “I was absolutely thrilled to present this award to a highly effective team working closely together to complete their tasks. This effectiveness is reflected by their fantastic approach to safety, resulting in no lost time accidents in over 20 years.” Duncan received the award on behalf of the team and said “It’s great to see the whole team recognised for all their efforts”.
