PEME Team Leader Training

PEME has developed an in-house Team Leader training program to ensure all our current and future engineering supervisors are trained for leadership roles. This program aims to develop, hone and improve leadership skills in order to enhance effectiveness within PEME and on our client’s sites.

The training program consists of 20 modules that have been developed to ensure delegates have a thorough understanding of PEME’s internal processes and systems and that they are also competent in supervision, leadership, Project Management, Safety and Reliability. Development of core engineering skills is provided by our In-house Skills Training modules.

Course assignments are carried out after attendance on a training course and are addressed in the context of the delegates own work place to demonstrate they can apply knowledge and skills picked up on the module to their existing role.

The training is delivered by in-house subject-matter-experts and the picture shows delegates attending a recent course covering Risk Assessments delivered by PEME’s Health, Safety and Environment Manager, Michael Edwards.

Upon successful completion of the initial team leader training program, participants will proceed on a leadership career path of increasing responsibility and have the opportunity to grow as far as their abilities will take them.
