Peterborough Food Bank

It’s the time of year when PEME’s Accounts Department starts looking for extra food. They are asking you to help them for the Peterborough Food Bank.  Any contribution towards this would be really appreciated.

Peterborough Food Bank is a local charity that accepts donations of non-perishable food and redistributes it to feed local people who have hit hard times and need some additional support.

Jane Timms (PEME Purchasing) said “Mother Teresa once said if you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one, so anyone who would like to make a contribution however big or small please contact PEME accounts – it doesn’t matter how much, every tin counts.”

Jane also advised “we are planning to take the delivery to the Food Bank on Friday 02 December so that we can include some Christmas treats for the children.  If you could get your contributions to Accounts before then that would be great.” Jane can provide a list of the type of items they are after.
