PEME has sponsored several engineers in completing an internationally respected training programme in project controls. This programme is designed for those new to the subject, or those who wish to gain a formal project management qualification to evidence their full understanding of all aspects of project control.
This programme is delivered by 2020 Business Insight in an exclusive partnership with the Engineering & Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB). It is a comprehensive programme covering all aspects of project control. The programme is delivered using a blended approach which includes distance learning via a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), a series of workshops and on-line tutor support. The programme consists of 8 modules spread over a 9 month period.
We have a robust, pragmatic approach to Project Management. Our successful candidates who have been awarded the City & Guilds Certificate in Project Controls to date are: Simon Latimer, James McAuley, Glenn Waters, Gareth Major and Danny Watt.
The picture shows Danny Watt (PEME Site Supervisor) receiving his certificate from HR Manager (Karen Pike). Danny is the latest to complete this training and was specially commended by Karen for the quality and alacrity in which he completed the course. Danny said “This was an excellent course that reinforced the project management skills that I have previously gained from experience”.
