PEME are pleased to announce that we have once again secured SafeContractor accreditation for the high standards of health and safety practiced throughout the company.
First established in 1982, PEME has always recognised the importance of protecting its employees and customers by ensuring all activities are undertaken safely, as Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, Michael Edwards, explains, “As an Asset Care partner providing technical services designed to help our client’s production assets achieve their full potential safely, health and safety is a key priority for PEME. Our policies are designed to ensure that all risks to our employees and customers are identified and procedures are in-place to minimise the chances of anyone coming to any harm whilst working with or for PEME.”
SafeContractor accreditation is valued by a wide range of organisations including leading UK manufacturers.
“We operate a team of engineers who are out in the field every day” continues Michael. “SafeContractor accreditation is official recognition that PEME meets the stringent demands of customers who recognise the importance of working with suppliers that take health and safety seriously.”
Under the SafeContractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website.
