PEME has introduced a Long Service Award to celebrate and recognise the long-term commitment and loyalty of colleagues who have completed 15+ years of service. The latest recipients from our team based at AkzoNobel, Slough have been presented with their awards.
The picture shows, PEME Operations Manager, Anna Walker, presenting Long Service Awards to 3 stalwarts of our team at Slough: Howard Dezille (Team Leader) (15 years), Craig Slater (Engineer) (16 years) and Vic Dell (Engineer) (16 years). Anna said “I felt truly honoured to be asked to present these awards to these three members of my team at Slough. They go out of their way to provide an excellent service to our clients and they have all supported me personally during my time managing this contract”.
PEME has supported the AkzoNobel Slough site (formerly ICI Paints) for 19 years and have had a maintenance team on-site continuously for approximately 13 years. The maintenance partnership contract started with the supply of a small number of mechanical tradespersons, in conjunction with the instigation of a site-wide full asset care project to introduce a new maintenance regime. This led to a formal maintenance contract to conduct planned maintenance tasks with a multi-skilled team. The client restructured their engineering department in 2004 and this has ensured the PEME team has become fully integrated on-site.
