PEME Apprentice Electrician Passes AM2

PEME apprentice electrician, Ian White, has recently received his AM2 results which shows he has passed all aspects, including the practical assessments, scoring an outstanding 100% on 6 of the 9 sections, which made his average across all 9 sections an impressive 91.8%. This is a huge achievement and a great credit to him.

AM2 is a three-day industry recognised trade test, controlled by the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) organisation in conjunction with the Joint Industry Board (JIB and Summitskills. AM2 is a practical assessment with a short online component, taken over 16 hours in total

Ian joined PEME in June 2011 as a mature apprentice having already completed his C&G 2330 Level 2 technical certificate.  He has worked at several of PEME’s client sites during his apprenticeship at a variety of locations, including Dundee, Melton Mowbray, Burton Latimer, East London, Birmingham and Slough. Ian is studying an Electrotechnical Apprenticeship through Wisbech College.
